    good practice Review by Customer
it's been a while since I took the test, but this book was good practice problems. Gets you in the motion of about 6 minutes/problem. I didn't like the hints just under the problem statement. I would cheat and look at the hint. I put sticky paper over the hints to prevent cheating.

I only used this 6min solutions and the ChERM manual and practice problems and passed on my first attempt (Posted on 5/2/2016)

A good addition to your study materials Review by Customer
This book was a decent help for the ChemE PE exam-- with the addition of some other support material. I found these problems to be a bit longer, a bit more in depth than what was on the exam-- but it was good for preparation. The solutions are thorough enough that you don't get lost and I was overall fairly happy with the purchase.

The best help was that I went through each problem and made a one-line summary for each, so I'd have a quick index to reference during the exam. This way I could quickly scan and find a similar problem in the book for the exam question I was looking at. This is in no way the only book you should or set of practice problems you should study, but it is a good aid. (Posted on 5/2/2016)

Passed the Exam on the First Try Review by Customer
This book was my main study source for the PE, and I passed on the first try with less study time than I had hoped. (I studied around 100 hours, I think.) The problems were longer and more difficult than the actual PE questions, which is much better than the other way around. They covered all exam topics, and the solutions were detailed.

I worked through most of the problems in this book, took the NCEES practice exam like it was the real exam, then went back and hit my problem areas in this and other books. (Posted on 5/2/2016)
