Well organized, comprehensive reference text Review by Amazon Customer
    Overall
This offers a comprehensive exploration of the topics, concepts and problems typically found in the PE Electrical and Computer Exam. But, as someone who is not looking to take that exam, I am finding it to be an outstanding reference text. I commonly work with engineers and always run into nomenclature or concepts that I'm either totally unfamiliar with, or have an insufficient grounding to feel comfortable. While Internet searches are an option, this reference text has been far more valuable since 1) all the info is vetted/reliable; and 2) it does not bury you with so much detail as to be overwhelming.

The author states that his goal was not only to prepare candidates for the exam, but also to create a reference text for future work. I can't speak from direct experience as to how well this volume offers test preparation (other than the fact that the intro section that explains the structure/intent of the exam, and test-taking strategies seems clear and logical), but I can highly recommend this as a reference text.

The volume is nicely organized, with extensive illustrations diagrams to help explore topics. The index is also nicely done. On a practical level, the binding is robust - sounds like a minor issue, but given the thumbing through this volume will take, that's an important factor for publication longevity.
