So far so good Review by Stephanie
I've used PPI before and really benefited from their study guides - I strongly prefer them to the other big names out there.I really like that the ARE review manual is one textbook with all of the divisions rather than separate (and also, separately purchased) textbooks.

I've just finished the first division of the ARE manual and it's good, with a few minor suggestions. There are individual review questions throughout each chapter, which is helpful. These I think are not meant to test what you've learned so far as much as further educate you with in depth explanations with the answers. However, even so, it's annoying that the multiple choice answers are in a larger, bold, separate line font - which really makes them stand out. Unfortunately it means the first thing I see when I turn the page is the answer to the question, and I think it would be much more effective to simply include it in-line at the end of the answer explanations. I've also found a number of grammatical typos which, while not a huge deal (this isn't an English Language study guide), it is slightly distracting to me. (Posted on 12/5/2019)

Lots of information Review by Connie
The book is huge and all encompassing and seems to be organized well with so much information. The reading is a bit dry, and I wish there were more diagrams and references to the test. It would help to be able to relate the information you're reading to a situation that you will use it when testing. Overall, though, I am pleased with the book. (Posted on 12/5/2019)
