This is the official and only reference you'll be permitted to use in the exam, so it's essential that you become familiar with it well before exam day. By studying the locations of reference formulas and tables, you will save valuable time during the exam searching for needed information. The handbook is required for both the morning and afternoon exam sessions.

This edition has been reorganized, so it is important that you become familiar with the new location of formulas and tables as your prepare for the exam.

Most state boards do not provide handbooks to registrants before the exam. Therefore, if you want a copy, you need to order it yourself. It's a must-have for everyone preparing for the FE/EIT exam.

    * PPI also recommends this handbook for engineers taking the PE exam. Full of engineering reference formulas and tables, it is a helpful resource to have at your fingertips on exam day.

Great but possibly outdated Review by Christopher

So far the book is very comprehensive, but I do have concerns that it may be outdated by the time I take the FE exam. (Posted on 3/31/13)
