- Why should I buy current editions of the required text when I already own older editions?
PPI publishes new editions of texts when exam specifications or related codes are updated. Your exam preparation will be most successful (and you will find it easiest to follow the course) if the books you use to prepare reflect the most recent exam specifications and related codes.
Also, page and chapter numbering may change when a new edition is created, as well as some sample problems, illustrations, equations, figures, and/or tables. So having the correct, current book edition(s) used in your course will eliminate any incorrect, re-located, or missing information.
