Welcome to the Mechanical PE Passing Zone

This is a 14-week online study group designed to help you prepare for the Mechanical PE exam. Your Zone Advisors will be Steven Andrew and Rich Davis. If you don't already have copies of the required texts, you can obtain them from PPI.

Each week, we'll assign chapters from the Mechanical Engineering Reference Manual, 12th Edition. Additionally, you'll find Problems of the Week featured on the website (with solutions). You should post any questions that you have on the readings or the problems on the Passing Zone's Q&A Forum, and a Zone Advisor will post a response. You'll be able to read not only the questions and answers that you post but also those posted by other exam candidates.

The Passing Zone is designed to cover likely exam topics; it is not intended to be a general review of mechanical engineering principles. We urge you to stay up with the assigned readings—this will definitely help keep you on a manageable schedule.
