1. How do I sign up for a review class?
It's simple. Go to our website at
www.ppi2pass.com/pereview
and find the discipline and location of your choosing.
Add the "Course and Book Package" to your cart to optomize your savings (or add the "Course" only if you already have the required books) and follow the directions
to check out and process your order.
2. Will I receive a course confirmation?
As soon as you order your course on-line you will receive a confirmation of your purchase via email. This is your course confirmation.
In addition, you will receive class information prior to the class beginning if a change takes place in the course details (for example, a change in the schedule or location).
We strongly suggest that you check class information often as any changes to class schedules are posted on our website. Go to
www.ppi2pass.com/pereview , click on your discipline and on your venue for the latest class information.
3. How can I get a receipt for reimbursement from my company?
You will receive an emailed confirmation of your order which can be used as a receipt for your company. Some company's require a certificate of completion.
If you are eligible for a certificate of completion (by meeting our course completion requirements) you will be able to print a certificate, at the end of class,
by going to

and entering your email address and password.
4. What is the California Requirement for the FE and PE Exam?
California's PE and FE requirements are posted on the state board web site at
http://www.dca.ca.gov/pels/ .
Please check this website for the latest requirements.
5. What are the requirements for the FE and PE Exam for other states?
You can check other state exam requirements by clicking on the applicable state on the following website:

6. How do I know when I'm eligible to take the exam?
Check with your state board. State board web sites and contact information can be found at:

7. I am not able to take the exam at this time. How can I change my enrollment to the next class cycle?
If you find that you are not able to take the current exam you can roll your enrollment over, one time, to the next class session. Send an email to
info@ppi2pass.com within the time frame indicated on your enrollment agreement. ( Click here for a copy of the Enrollment Agreement

and include the following information on your roll over request:
- Your full name
- Your e-mail address
- Your password
- The class code of the class you enrolled in (normally starting with an "X")
1. What are the exact requirements for guaranteeing that I can repeat the class if I should fail the exam?
PPI Guarantees that students who meet our course completion requirements will pass their exam or they may repeat our course for free, within one year of their initial enrollment term. The PPI Course Completion Certificate is required for all repeating students. Our guarantee does not cover our half-day or single day courses.
The minimum course requirements to be eligible for our guarantee are as follows:
- FE Classes: Complete and pass (by achieving a score of 50% correct or better) an on-line exam included as part of your course materials
- PE Classes: Attend 11 of 14 topics, turn in 11 of 14 homework assignments, complete 1 sample exam.
- Seismic/Surveying: Seismic and Surveying Review classes are not eligible for our guarantee
- LEED: LEED classes are not eligible for our guarantee
While these are the minimum requirements for the guarantee we strongly recommend that you turn in all of your homework and attend all of the classes to ensure the best test score. Please note that more than one topic may be taught per class.
2. How can I know that I received credit for my attendance and homework?
Check the homework and attendance logs often by logging into the PE Review website at
http://ppi2pass.com/perAdmin/customerLogin.jsf.

You are responsible for ensuring that your homework and attendance logs are correct.
3. How is homework collected?
Turn your homework in to your course instructor(s). All homework (and sample exams) must be postmarked no later than the Friday of the exam week.
4. How do I get my course certificate?
Two weeks after the exam go to our website at
http://ppi2pass.com/perAdmin/customerLogin.jsf.
Follow the instructions for obtaining your certificate. If you have met all of the course requirements you will be able to print certificates from the website. In addition, once you have logged in to the above site, you will receive an email from PPI with printable certificates.
5. How can I access the on-line homework and/or class notes?
- Go to
http://ppi2pass.com/pereview
- Click on the "Homework and Attendance Logs, Certificates" button
- Enter your email address and password and click on the "LogIn" link . Your password is the one you set up when you created your account to order your class.
- If you forgot your password enter your email address in the appropriate location and click the "Send Password" link.
- If you have not created an account go to
www.ppi2pass.com
and click the "Login/Create Account" link at the top right corner of the page.
- Your course information will appear within a few seconds. (If it doesn't, click on the folder icon on the left hand side of the page)
- You will see the following:
- A list of course handouts.
- To view and download a handout just click on the handout title and "open" or "save" the handout.
6. How do I retrieve my password?
- Go to
www.ppi2pass.com
and click on the "Login/Create Account" link in the upper right corner of the page
- Click on the "Forgot Your Password? Click here" link .
- Type in your email address and click the "Send Password" button.
7. I would like to take advantage of the course guarantee, in case I didn't pass the exam in my previous attempt, but I haven't received my pass/fail letter from the state board yet.
Sign up and pay for the class that you would like to attend. Once you receive your pass/fail letter from the state board send the following to us by email (at info@ppi2pass.com) or fax (650.592.4519):
- A copy of the state board pass/fail letter
- Your certificate of completion from the previous class
- Your receipt from the new class.
Once we have received the aforementioned information we will refund your payment, in full, whether you continue with the course (if you failed the exam) or drop out of the course (if you passed.)
1. How can I find out where my class is located?
We provide maps to general venue locations. These can be found at
http://ppi2pass.com/ppi/PPIInfo_pg_pereview-venues.html . These maps are provided by our venues and may not be detailed. You can also look up the address at one of the internet map sites such as Google® or Mapquest®
2. How will I know if a class date or venue has changed during the class?
PPI posts all changes to class information on our web site. When situations change we also notify students via email so make sure we have your updated contact information.) To check your class information go to

3. How does PPI contact class participants?
Class participants are notified by email of any changes to their class schedule or location. We also post information on our website at

. Click on your discipline and location. To ensure that you are notified of any changes to your class please make sure that we have your updated contact information.
4. Once I've enrolled in a class can I change the location?
Absolutely -- however it is your responsibility to ensure that the new class schedule enables you to complete the topics you need to complete the course and meet our course guarantee requirements. (I.E., taking the same class in two locations does not count towards our guarantee requirement.) To change classes send an email request to

with the following information:
- Your full name (as entered when you enrolled in the class)
- Your user name (normally your email address)
- Your password
- The class code of the class you enrolled in (normally begins with an "X")
- The class code of the new class (normally begins with an "X")
1. Why should I buy current editions of the required text when I already own older editions?
PPI publishes new versions of our books when the NCEES changes exam specifications or updates codes. Our instructors teach to the updated versions of the text. Therefore, to follow along with the instructor, and as importantly, to ensure that you are using the correct codes, tables, etc., in your calculations you need the latest version of our products.
