The following PE exams are given in October only: Agr, ConSys, Fire, Geotechnical
(CA), Ind, Manf, Met, Nuc, Pet, Str (CA), and Traffic (CA).

Special California notes: To become registered as a Civil PE in California,
you must pass the NCEES 8-hour Civil PE exam and two
special exams: Engineering Surveying Principles (2-1/2 hrs) and Seismic
Principles (2-1/2 hrs). These two exams are given the day after the regular
PE exam.
California also administers its own Structural Engineering Examination. This
is a 16-hour test administered over two days. For details on this exam, see
the CA Board web site.
