License Renewal and Continuing Professional Competency Requirements

	April and October Exams
FE/FS Exam	120 days prior to exam date
PE/PS Exam	120 days prior to exam date

The following PE exams are given in October only: Ag, ConSys, Fire, Ind, Manf, Met, Min/Min, Nuc, and Pet. The Naval/Marine PE exam is given in April only.

Min. educ. required:	Within 12 months of graduation from an EAC Eng curriculum
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree; 4-yr TAC Eng Tech degree; non-EAC Eng degree or BS degree + 2 yrs exp; non-TAC Eng Tech degree or no degree + 6 yrs exp; other combinations--contact the Board.
Waiver granted for FE:	Possible: with PhD in Eng + 4 yrs exp or with 20 yrs exp + acceptable degree--contact the Board.

NCEES exams offered:	All
Residency requirement:	No
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree + 4 yrs exp; non-EAC Eng degree + 6 yrs exp; 4-yr TAC Eng Tech degree + 6 yrs exp; other combinations--contact the Board.

License renewal:	PE and PS: Every year
PDH required for renewal:	PE and PS: No
