License Renewal and Continuing Professional Competency Requirements

FE Exam	Feb 4	Sept 3
PE Exam	Feb 4	Sept 3

The following PE exams are given in October only: Ag, ConSys, Fire, Ind, Met, Min/Min, Nuc, and Pet. The Naval/Marine PE and Architectural Engineering exams are given in April only.

Min. educ. required:	Senior yr in EAC Eng curriculum
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree (or BS equiv.); 4-yr TAC Eng Tech degree
Waiver granted for FE:	Possible: with EAC Eng degree + 12 yrs exp; with non-EAC degree + 16 yrs exp; with Eng PhD and combination of 6 yrs Eng teaching and/or work exp

NCEES exams offered:	All
Residency requirement:	Yes
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree (or BS equiv.) + 4 yrs exp; non-EAC Eng degree + 8 yrs exp; 4-yr TAC Eng Tech degree + 8 yrs exp

License renewal:	PE and PS: Every year
PDH required for renewal	PE--beginning 2005, 15 PDH; PS--8 PDH
