License Renewal and Continuing Professional Competency Requirements

	April Exams	October Exams
FE Exam	January	August
FE Exam for Sr. Engineering Students	January	September
PE Exam	December	July

The following PE exams are given in October only: Ag, ConSys, Fire, Ind, Met, Min/Min, Nuc, and Pet. The Naval/Marine and Architectural Engineering exams are offered in April.

Min. educ. required:	Senior yr in EAC Eng curriculum
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree or substantially equivalent
Waiver granted for FE:	Possible with EAC Eng degree + 12 yrs exp

NCEES exams offered:	All
Residency requirement:	Must be a resident or work in the state to sit for the exam; comity available without residency
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree + 4 yrs exp, with EIT certificate; without EIT, EAC Eng degree + 12 yrs exp

License renewal:	PE--Every 2 years, PS--Every year
PDH required for renewal:	PE--24 PDH; PS--15 PDH
