License Renewal and Continuing Professional Competency Requirements

PE/PS Exam	January	July

The following PE exams are given in October only: Ag, ConSys, Fire, Ind, Manf, Met, Min/Min, Nuc, and Pet. The Naval/Marine PE exam is given in April only.

Min. educ. required:	Senior yr of EAC Eng curriculum
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree; 4-yr TAC Eng Tech degree; BS degree; no degree + 12 yrs exp
Waiver granted for FE:	No

NCEES exams offered:	All
Residency requirement:	No
Required experience:	EAC Eng MS or PhD degree + 3 yrs exp; EAC Eng degree + 4 yrs exp; 4-yr TAC Eng Tech degree + 5 yrs exp; BS degree + 5 yrs exp; non-EAC Eng or non-TAC Eng Tech degree + 6 yrs exp; 2-yr TAC Eng Tech degree + 9 yrs exp; no degree + 12 yrs exp

License renewal:	PE and PS: Every 2 years
PDH required for renewal:	PE and PS: 30 PDH
