License Renewal and Continuing Professional Competency Requirements

	April Exams	October Exams
FE/FS Exam	December	July
PE/PS Exam	December	July

The following PE exams are given in October only: Ag, ConSys, Fire, Ind, Manf, Met, Min/Min, Nuc, and Pet. The Naval/Marine PE exam is given in April only.

Min. educ. required:	Jr yr in EAC Eng curriculum
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree; Combination of 8 yrs of Eng education and exp; Eng students who have completed 2 yrs of an aproved program may sit for the exam but can't receive EIT certificate until proof of graduation is provided.
Waiver granted for FE:	No

NCEES exams offered:	All except Str II
Residency requirement	No
Required experience:	Approved Eng degree, EIT certificate + 4 yrs exp; without degree, EIT certificate plus 12 yrs exp.

License renewal:	PE and PS: Every 2 years
PDH required for renewal:	PE and PS: No
