License Renewal and Continuing Professional Competency Requirements

	April Exams	October Exams
FE/FS Exam	February	September
PE/PS Exam	January	August

The following PE exams are given in October only: Ag, ConSys, Fire, Ind, Manf, Met, Min/Min, Nuc, and Pet. The Naval/Marine PE exam is given in April only.

Min. educ. required:	90 hrs credit toward Eng or related science degree
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree; 4-yr non-EAC Eng degree or BS degree + 1 yr exp (exp may be gained after FE exam is taken)
Waiver granted for FE:	No

NCEES exams offered:	All
Residency requirement:	No
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree + 4 yrs exp; non-EAC Eng or BS degree + 6 yrs exp

License renewal:	PE and PS: Every 2 years
PDH required for renewal:	PE and PS: 30 PDH
