License Renewal and Continuing Professional Competency Requirements

The following PE exams are given in October only: Ag, ConSys, Fire, Ind, Manf, Met, Min/Min, Nuc, and Pet. The Naval/Marine PE exam is given in April only.

Min. educ. required:	Senior yr of an EAC Eng curriculum
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree; combination of 6 yrs of Eng education and/or exp
Waiver granted for FE:	No

NCEES exams offered:	All
Residency requirement:	You must be a United States citizen or alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the United States
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree + 4 yrs exp; 4-yr TAC Eng Tech degree + 6 yrs exp; other combinations; non-ABET degrees considered case by case

License renewal:	PE--Every 2 years; PS--Every 3 years
PDH required for renewal:	PE--As of January 2004; PS--As of January 2004
