License Renewal and Continuing Professional Competency Requirements

The following PE exams are given in October only: Ag, ConSys, Ind, Fire Proection, Met, Min/Min, Nuc, and Pet. Offered only in April are the Architectural and Naval Architecture/Marine exams.
The Manufacturing exam is no longer offered.

Min. educ. required:	Senior year of an EAC engineering curriculum
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree; 4-yr non-EAC degree + EAC MS degree; other 4-yr Eng degree + 4 yrs exp
Waiver granted for FE:	Possible with PhD

NCEES exams offered:	All except Manufacturing
Residency requirement:	No
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree + 4 yrs exp; non-EAC Eng degree + 8 yrs exp; 4-yr Eng Tech degree + 8 yrs exp; BS degree + 8 yrs exp; other combinations

License renewal:	Every 2 years
PDH required for renewal:	30 PDH
