License Renewal and Continuing Professional Competency Requirements

The following PE exams are given in October only: Ag, ConSys, Fire, Ind, Manf, Met, Min/Min, Nuc, and Pet. The Naval/Marine PE exam is given in April only.

Required experience:	EAC Eng degree; Combination of 4 yrs of Eng education and exp
Waiver granted for FE:	n/a

Required experience:	EAC Eng degree + 4 yrs exp; MS Eng degree + EAC Eng degree + 3 yrs exp; PhD Eng degree + EAC Eng degree + 2 yrs exp; BS degree + 6 yrs exp; Other combination of 8 yrs of Eng education and exp

License renewal:	PE--Every year; PS--Every 2 years
PDH required for renewal:	PE and PS: 24- Every 2 years
