License Renewal and Continuing Professional Competency Requirements

	April Exams	October Exams
FE/FS Exam	January	August
PE/PS Exam	January	August

The following PE exams are given in October only: Ag, ConSys, Fire, Ind, Manf, Met, Min/Min, Nuc, and Pet. The Naval/Marine PE exam is given in April only.

Min. educ. required:	Senior year of EAC Eng degree program
Required degrees/experience:	EAC Eng degree; non-EAC Eng degree + prescriptive courses
Waiver granted for FE exam:	Possible, with 12 yrs exp

NCEES exams offered:	All
Residency requirement	Yes
Required /experience:	EAC Eng degree + 4 yrs exp; non-EAC Eng degree + 4 yrs exp + prescriptive courses

License renewal:	Every 2 years
PDH required for renewal:	PE--No; PS--30 PDH
