License Renewal and Continuing Professional Competency Requirements

PE/PS Exam	Nov-01	June-01

The following PE exams are given in October only: Ag, ConSys, Fire, Ind, Manf, Met, Min/Min, Nuc, and Pet. The Naval/Marine PE exam is given in April only.

Min. educ. required:	Senior yr, EAC Eng degree program
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree; or 20 yrs exp + 45 yrs of age
Waiver granted for FE:	Possible with PhD; or EAC Eng degree + 20 yrs exp + 45 yrs of age

NCEES exams offered:	All
Residency requirement:	No
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree + 4 yrs exp; non-EAC 4-yr Eng or 4-yr Eng Tech degree + 8 yrs exp; other/no degree + 20 yrs exp + 45 yrs of age; other combinations

License renewal:	PE and PS: Every 2 years
PDH required for renewal:	PE--Voluntary; PS--24 PDH
