License Renewal and Continuing Professional Competency Requirements

	April Exams	October Exams
FE/FS Exam	December 1	July 1
PE/PS Exam	December 1	July 1

The following PE exams are given in October only: Ag, ConSys, Fire, Ind, Manf, Met, Min/Min, Nuc, and Pet. The Naval/Marine PE exam is given in April only.

Min. educ. required:	Last semester of senior year in EAC Eng degree program
Required degrees/experience:	EAC Eng degree; 4-yr TAC Eng Tech degree + 4 yrs exp; 4-yr non-TAC Eng Tech degree + 5 yrs exp; BS degree + 4 yrs exp; non-US degree + 6 yrs. exp; other/no degree + 6 yrs exp
Waiver granted for FE exam:	Possible: EAC Eng degree + 8 yrs exp; other/no degree + 20 yrs exp

NCEES exams offered:	All
Residency requirement:	No
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree + 4 yrs exp; non-EAC Eng degree + 6 yrs exp; 2-yr TAC Eng Tech degree + 8-1/2 yrs exp (10 yrs w/o EIT cert); 4-yr TAC Eng Tech degree + 7 yrs exp (8 yrs w/o EIT cert); BS degree + 7 yrs exp (8 yrs w/o EIT cert)

License renewal:	PE and PS: Every year
PDH required for renewal:	PE and PS: No
