License Renewal and Continuing Professional Competency Requirements

	April Exams	October Exams
FE/FS Exam	January 1	July 1
PE/PS Exam	January 1	July 1

The following PE exams are given in October only: Ag, ConSys, Fire, Ind, Met, Min/Min, Nuc, and Pet. The Naval/Marine PE and Architectural Engineering exams are given in April only.

Min. educ. required:	Senior year in EAC Eng deg program
Required degrees/experience:	EAC Eng degree; non-EAC Eng Tech degree + 2 yrs exp; 4-yr TAC Eng Tech degree + 2 yrs exp; BS degree + 2 yrs exp; high-school degree + 6 yrs exp; other combinations
Waiver granted for FE:	Possible with Eng deg + 16 yrs exp

NCEES exams offered:	All except STR II
Residency requirement:	No
Required experience:	EAC Eng degree + 4 yrs exp; non-EAC Eng degree + 6 yrs exp; 4-yr TAC Eng Tech degree + 6 yrs exp; BS degree + 6 yrs exp; other combinations

License renewal:	PE and PS: Every 2 years
PDH required for renewal:	PE and PS: No
