    Michael R. Lindeburg, PE, is one of the best-known authors of engineering textbooks and references. His books and courses have influenced millions of engineers around the world.     • Transfer the E-Book file to your Android device with an external SD card or internal storage.

    • Open the Aldiko Book Reader, then tap on the “Files” icon.

    • Locate the E-Book file(s) that you would like to import into the Aldiko Book Reader, check the box next to each of them, then tap on the “Import to Aldiko” button.

    I found in this reference most of what I need in my work and I used this as reference to refresh my mind about the old school staff (Posted on 7/29/2015)

    I don't do much in science these days, but once I took all those classes: Statistics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry... and at some point I must have known a lot of formulae, which sometimes come back PV=nRT, F=mA, but mostly not. I guess that's why we have books like this. For instance, my kids suddenly developed an interest in making electromagnets, what if I double the number of wire turns? It's in this book.

    If you are an active engineer or scientist, I think this book is useful for the occasion when a need outside your speciality comes up. It is wide ranging, but is missing some domains. For instance, I don't see anything about experimental design/optimization statistics (at least I'm not seeing anything about Box diagrams in the index).

    While it's nice that the author is knowledgeable about the equations of economics, I wouldn't say it fits in with the mostly STEM based information in the rest of the book.

    All in all, an impressive tome which I wish I could make better use of. (Posted on 7/29/2015)

    4 years of college in 1 book Review by Customer
    Where was this book when I was in college?! It has just enough information that you can he effective in almost any field related to mechanical engineering.

    I brought only this book and a calculator to the PE exam for mechanical engineering and passed just fine on my first attempt. The only studying I did was the practice exam using this book and a couple hours to get used to the book. I have to laugh at the poor bastards that brought dollies to transport their milk crates full of books. (Posted on 7/29/2015)
